Blueberry and Orange Scones


  • 225 grs of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 50 grs of softened butter
  • 25 grs of sugar
  • 25 grs of blueberries
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • Gradation of 1 orange
  • marmalade to serve

  1. Sift the flour with the yeast and salt.
  2. Put it in the form of a volcano on a table, make a hole and place there butter, sugar, egg, milk and orange zest.
  3. Mix with your hands, without kneading, forming a ball.
  4. Add blueberries
  5. Flatten with a fork on the floured board leaving the dough 2 cm thick and then cut.
  6. Line a mold with aluminum foil and bring it to a preheated oven at 200ºC for about 18' or until a toothpick is inserted, it comes out clean.
  7. Remove and let cool on rack.
  8. Once cold put on a tray and serve accompanied by jam to taste.
